tinting windows
let eyes adjust, not illegal, the state of GA lost a supreme court case for ticketing GA residents with under 25% tint, however cops did not have to ticket non-GA residents. there are currently no tint laws in GA and i would fall under the "grandfather clause" when there are new ones established, meaning they dont apply to me. again, 20% in fron is not too bad. and backing up at night is easier than the people who go 5% in rear.
yes and there is a 2% 6" strip on top of front windshield. there is 20% on every window surface on the car, including the entire front windshield, it looks real good and it is not hard to see out of.
you can't tint the whole windshield!! WTF is that??? I'm positive that is illegal anywhere! Common sense should tell you thats wrong! And ryan94!! I have 5% all the way around my convertible, including but limited to a 6"strip on the windshield! Looks awesome, yea yea, can't see $h!t out the back at night but who cares. Why do you have your windows up with the top down, that looks rediculous no mater if your windows are tinted or not IMO!
no its LEGAL. the sate of GA lost a court case in june 2004 in the supreme court for ticketing GA residents with under 25% tint, but they were not allowed to ticket non-GA residents. when they lost, they threw out all of GA's tint laws involving automobiles. so there are currently no established tint laws in the state of GA. when they get around to making new laws, however, i will be exempt through the grandfather clause.
