Default Porter Cable 7424 Questions

I want to buy a PC 7424 but what else do I need as far as Pads? I see there are hook & loop, velcro, and others??? What do I need to get out swirl marks (what color pads and polish) there are so many choices I am not sure what to get.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I carry package deals that will save you some money and have everything needed to get started. I got the PC/Porter Cable package that includes the PC,backing plate, orange light cutting pad, white polishing pad, and gray finishing pad.

I also have kits that have the polishes included with them. They are basically I medium and light cut polishes. I have Poorboy and Optimum Porter Cable packages. Both are very popular on here. The Poorboys is more user friendly and is great for a beginner and the Optimum is a little more advanced.

I would also recommend going with a glaze after the polishes to bring out a lot of wetness and depth. Then top with a sealant or carnauba wax or both. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions, I will be glad to help!

Get everything you need from the start. Its so much easier that way. Been there, done that. You will save some $ this way, plus you'll have everything you need to get started.
