Has anyone installed them, is it easy? And do they sit nicely in place? Also do they come off easily?? Because i dont want to get them if they come off easy. Is vinyl better than the ss?? Pics would help too!!

i just got the stainless inserts for my 94 gt for christmas. all you have to do to install is clean the cutouts on your bumper with alcohol or something like that and then peel the backing off the letter and stick it on. it took me about 15 mins to do everything and clean up. they should fit right into place and they seem like they will stay there for a while. if you are looking for a certain color i would go with vynil, but if u want silver id go with the stainless. i got mine from mustangtuning. that pic is really small, i have a larger one posted at https://mustangforums.com/m_331697/tm.htm

i got the stainless steel inserts for my sonic blue GT, they look sweeeeet. Takes like 10 minutes to install. Very simple. I dont think they'll be coming off very soon, but i imagine if u have the right tools its not the hardest job in the world to get them off. Again they look very nice, and i recommend them.

I am thinking about getting stainless steel inserts for my mustang but I was wondering how well the inserts fit the existing lettering on the bumper and if there is a certain gauge of stainless steel that is preferrable over another...I have seen 18, 20, and 22 gauge cuts offered. Anyone with any thoughts?

mine fit in the cutouts perfectly, im not sure about the guage, but i think that is the thickness of the metal. i dont think that it really matters about that though because you arent using them to support anything, and if you got them too thick then they would prob stick out too far.

Where did you get your inserts from? What did you pay for them? Did you install them yourself?
