headlight question....

Default headlight question....

okay i have a 2000 stang with the crome lights and i hate them....but i am to cheap to buy new one's.........on my freinds honda civic we put them in the oven. it caused them to open then we taped the parts he didn't want painted and gave him the smoke look......my question is wouldI be able to do that to my headlights????

umm, don't put your headlights in the oven unless you want to buy new ones... I would either get a smoked headlight tint from autobadges.com or spray-on tint from americanmuscle.com

If your that chep just go on ebay and buy the tint film. It's like 20 or so bucks.

if your too cheap for the tint film from ebay the oven does work.
just wrap the lighst in a wet rag and put the oven on low and it'll work out just fine
and it does look good to me when people do that...its not ricey unless they say tha painting their headlights gave them 5 hp

okay.....are you dumb...instead of spending $200 + on new one's just paint the old ones.........cheap and smart.....and im not a rice boy....i just like cars all types......

im n ot talking about baking a cake at 450 degrees.....just enough so the silicone that holds them together comes off enough then spray the inside... the re-seal them with silicone.......

MAYBE EVERYONE MISUNDERSTOOD ME...... i want them to look like 2001+ lights......thats why i want to paint them from the inside.
