Bingo
You are going to love the results! I have used both of those products before. The Gunk stuff really cuts into the grease and makes it rinse right off. As per the instructions, just be carefull around the coil/distributor and the air intake system. If for some reason the car won't start when you are done, then you got a little carried away
Have not fear, let her dry out over night and it should fire up, maybe sputter for a few minutes then finish drying itself out. I had this happen on my 1993 LX once and my wifes Honda Prelude.
When she is all clean and dried, then coat the engine, side walls & fire wall, and everything that you can literally shoot that is black (rubber/hoses/component tops/etc) and then shut the hood and drive on. Look at it after you've driven and gotten it hot and you will be amazed!
For in-between cleanings use a rag and spray with CD-2 and hand wipe everything that has accumulated any dust - very simple touch up process
Enjoy

That is correct! Although there are some parts that I prefer to wipe down with a CD-2 soaked rag to get rid of any drip/streak marks - such as the radiator shrowd/cover, battery, washer resivior cover, etc....
