Default License plates

I am new to this, in fact, I just registered and already have a question. I have a 2007 Vista Blue GT, and as most of you may know this has the painted rear bumper. The license plate is to be placed on this bumper. Is there anything that I can purchase or a special frame that I can purchase that will prevent the license plate and frame from scratching the bumper?

Thanks for your help

Just go the the hardware store and get some rubber or plastic washers. Something like these: http://www.directron.com/grommet.html#caption

Thank you! This is such a good idea! As my post may have given away, I amfemale. I have asked everyone, even auto shops, and no one had a clue. Thanks again!

That was easy. I've been looking all over for a front plate bracket.
