I tried it when it first came out. Results were so-so. We have hard water, so the filter didn't last very long and got too expensive to keep replacing it. Plus I had to do some scrubbing to get some dirt spots off. Maybe someone else has had better exprerience with it, but IMO it's not worth it. btw, I used it on my old unwaxed jeep. Maybe it works better on a newer waxed car

You aren't getting it clean. It's just like filling up a bucket with car wash and filtered water, then tossing it on your car. But you have to towel dry it that way. It's not getting any cleaner though, if anything you're better off throwing the bucket full on your car and hand drying it. You'll actually be touching it and loosening up the dirt. I just don't think it's worth it unless you're extremely lazy.

Complete piece of ****. I tried it when I was detailing for a car dealership. It did cars semi-OK, but bullsh!t on not leaving water spots on glass, I got TONS of water spots on some brand new cars [:@]Also a big piece of **** to use on ATVs, scooters, snowmobiles, etc, it leaves MEGA water spots on plastic.

Got mine for Fathers Day. Cant say anything bad about it. Used it in a cool shaded area and worked as advertised. Will keep using and would give it an A plus.

Used one for about 2 years and just got a new one. What I like about it is that you don't need buckets. The"autodry" part is so-so. I now have a silver car so don't notice much but when I had red and black (especially) it did leave some visible water marks. I had to towel dry some after. You also have to replace the water filter after about 3 uses (even though it says about 5-6). The filtered water stream is sort of fine - not a lot of pressure - but I guess that is how it needs to work.

Overall, like I said, I use it for the convenience of not having buckets.

I think you have to use the special soap - wonder if you can use another soap?

I'v had both versions and both work as advertised. It cleans the car well and I have had no water spots at all. As it dries, I go over the car with a micro fiber cloth to take care of drips off the louvers, mirrors and the like. I have given it as a present to other car nuts and they have told me it works great for them too. I highly recommend it. BTW, I'm a Terp fan too. Maybe we use the same water.
