Good point Bill. I use the 303 stuff on my boat. As for the stangs they don't sit out in the sun all too much so I don't have any concern about UV protection. But I would guess any professional detail dressing for interiors would protect just as well if not more than Armor All.

Whats the best cleaner to use for the dash board. I heard that if you use commercial cleaners/protectant likeArmorall you have to keep using them orthe dash WILL dryand crack. Is that true? Once you use it you have to keep using it b/c it'll dry the dash and crack it if its not being reapplied. I was told the best thing to use is a damp clothe with water. B/c it will clean the dash and keep it moist and it doesnt have chemicals that cleaners do which can damage it. Whats the best cleaner to use and what do you use?
El falso. I've been using Armorall on both of my Stangs, and nothing happened so far. I don't re-apply it that often, either. My dad's been using it on every car to ever be in our garage since before I can remember and nothing has ever happened. I wouldn't worry.
exactly, the key work is SO FAR. It will crack eventually, numerous auto body shops say that and my paint instructor says not to use it. He's been painting cars since he was a teen.

Actually my Silk Shine does have UV protectants in it. The Poorboys Natural Look does as well.

Armor All makes it look nice but offers no protection. It's also silicone based and will eventually dry out and crack vinyl and plastic. It's also not really a cleaner just a dressing. Best results are if you two step it. Using a purpose built cleaner and then a treatment of sorts. I use DP stuff with great results. Check out juztangs stuff or check out autogeek.net. Ask any professional detailer about armor all interior stuff and you will never get a positive response. Great gel tire shine though. Foam works good for wheel wells too.
