Best Chrome Protection
Well I finally put new tailpipes on the stang replacing the rusted up garbage that was on there. So now I need to know, what's the best way to protect them now? The car is garaged during the winter and isn't taken out in the rain if I can avoid it so is it fine to just put a good coat of wax on it or is there a good chrome polish that protects them?
My new Wheel Seal works awesome on exhaust tips. It is designed for wheels but also works great on other metal parts. It will clean, add more shine, and put a layer of sealant all in one step. For the wheels it makes brake dust come off with ease.
Any old polish...turtle wax chrome polish will do dthe trick for those, and it's like $2.00...Since you don't drive it in bad weather, just keep them clean. No need to spend a lot on something for them.
