Armorall protect wipes
Do any of you use armorall wipes on your interior? I have heard it can dry out and crack the interior some how, especially the dashboard. Any truth to this?
If any of you does use it, how long have you used it on your car and have you had problems or not?
Thanks guys.

I dont use the wipes, i use the spray and then wipe off dry, leaving the slight coating.
Car for car, I don't know if the product shortens or lengthens the life... gotta believe it should. But where I am in the Texas heat, you better be using one of those sunshields cause the sun will damage the interior no matter what you have.
I have had only one vehicle with a cracked dash, and I used the armorallstuff: but its a '96 Dodge Ram, and they're all famous for weak dashes and cracking (very famous in the Dodge truck forum).

I have used the interior cleaning wipes, not the protectant wipes, on a leather dash (it was on a '95 minivan) and I didnt have any problems with cracking. I parked it in the sun a lot as well. Maybe the protectant wipes have a chemical that can cause cracking, but the cleaning wipes shouldn't do any harm.
i have used nothing but in the years that i have owned my car and it looks just like the day i bought it
there is no cracking or anything, and i couldnt be happier. However, members here will tell you that they suck and to not used their products. I see nothing wrong with them and they are reasonable priced as well.
ps. im from chicago, so not themost sun in the world

All of the new Armor All products are now water based and will not dry out interior parts like the older version of AA.

I use the protectant wipes and quite frankly, they leave too much oil.
