Default rough hood and roof

i just put a coat of wax on my car and lately ive been noticing that the hood and roof are rough yet the trunk and top of the fenders are still nice and smooth after the wax job. so how can i fix it? oh by the way i used the new tech wax from meguiars if that means anything. thanks for any advice!

a clay bar is your best friend in this situation. it will pull out all the contaminants that are stuck in your paint and your finish will feel like glass. after that you will prob want to use at least a good polish and a wax, and i would put a glaze in between them. juztang has some great products that you could use.

+1 what Ryan said. Clay bar it!! Be sure you use plenty of lube . Clay barring is easy and will leave youwith a nice clean and slick surface. You'll be suprised what you'll get out of your paint!! I just clay barred the passenger's side and rear this morning. The clay bar was a light grey color to begin with and when I did the rear bumper, the clay bar was brown. It was pretty bad.
