Default maguiars confusion - please help

hey, so i went to get some car cleaner stuff today, looking for maguiars since i know they are a good brand so i figured id go with something proven. anyway, i see the three step bottles, the nxt car wash, the paste wax, among other stuff. so i didnt get anything becasue i didnt know which one i need - if i get the 3 step do i need to car wash? can i get the ar wash and the paste and not the 3 step? etc....

can someone clear this up for me?

Thanks in advance - G

anyway you go, you have to get the car wash. Then if you plan on waxing it, the 3 step stuff isnt something that you want to do very often. it has a cleaner, a wax, and a polish, all that you have to put on, let dry, and buff out separatley so it will take quite a while. For just a basic coat of wax, then i like the cleaner wax that meguiars makes, or the nxt wax they have out now. I know that there will be people coming up here saying that wax is bad for your paint and all that crap, but this is just my opinion and what i use, it works for me so this is what im suggesting.

I use the 3 step and i think it works great. I usually don't always use the paint cleaner but deff. use the polish and wax. makes my oxidized paint look pretty good
