i should take my seats out too, i hate hauling people around like a damn taxi!
But I dont think judging by your mods, that you will gain a whole lot from taking the seat out. How do you drive around with straight pipes? I unbolted my exhaust for weekend and ran straight x-pipe. It was loud and droned like a sob. An everyone i know told me it didnt sound very good.[:'(]

the speakers that sit on top behind the seats, you dont need to remove. mine are there.

yeah those 03 cobras are sweet, and having speakers back there is a good reason to stop hauling people around. Right now I have a 10" fosgate tied down behind the seat, just so people wont want to sit on that side. It drives me crazy having someone looking over my shoulder, and then having to get out and flip the seat foward. I've done enough of that myself!
What do you plan on putting in place of the seats? I've seen a nice one done her on MF, they had GT embroidered with red thread, and it was on a carpeted panel.

mine is just 2 pieces particle board cut into the almost right shape & size. held together by a couple hinges, covered with black carpet and a nice little pony on the back piece. i think it looks good. might want to get a router tho, reciprocating saws and whatnot are kinda hard to use.
