I got my first ding in the windsheild of my 07 GT. The chip is really small (like a spec, not deep, just chip the surface)and no cracks, but Iwant to fix it before it becomes a problem even though Idoubt it will grow.

Anyone know anything about the resin repair kits and if they work? The chip is so small that I doubt it warrants bringing it to a glass repair shop.

 

you could drop it off at the dealer it might be covered under warranty, i know the dealer my dad works at has a guy that comes out and fixes windshields with chips and small cracks

 

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure I trust my dealer, but I'll check it out. The chip is so small, it looks like a little resin will do the trick. The dealer still owes me some work since I just bought the car at the end of August 07.
