Default swirl info and question

Ok, I have a 2006 performance white GT. I plan on using Mequiars products. Heres my list... wash, clay, scratch X for spyder like hair scratches, polish and then wax.Does this sound right?

About the swirls, I plan on using a polisher something between the hand held orbitor and the porter cable. Just not as powerful as thePC. If using it to polish using a microfiber pad will that produce more swirls when applying the polish??? Someone told me just dont use it for the polish just the wax. Is this true or not? Thanks.

Was hoping to use it for the scratch X, polish, and wax to apply little quicker and save on my shoulder and arm.

There are better products than Meguiars, the only advantage is they are more readily available at your local automotive stores...

You will do nothing but throw away your money unless you buy the proper equipment to achieve the results you want like removing swirls. The usual store bought random orbital buffers do not reach speeds high enough to offer any corrective abilities, if they do remove scratches they will leave a haze that'll be nearly impossible to remove without a much faster orbital.

You can try using microfiber clothes to apply swirl removers, but the microfiber itself will have no corrective properties and you'll likely just make things look worse...
