removing sap

my car has some sap thats not etched in yet because i got most of it out with a clay bar and a cleaner wax while its still wet, but its smeared on the paint and i cant get it off, how do i do that?


also my mom's car has tons of sap on it thats old and dry and crusty and thick how can i get that out?

You can use a Bug & Tar remover or if you have some WD40 give that a try. Make sure you put on a coat of wax or sealant after.

oh k thanks

ill try the wd...the bug and tar remover doesnt always help that much, but it does make it a little softer

plus its weird if i use the B&T remover its almost like it takes all the soap out of the water...hmm?

I like to apply the WD40 or B&T to a towel and then wipe it off. The comes back with you wash and completely clean it.
