A lot of people swear by maguires polishes, but I have not tried it firsthand. Ya might check to see how much the paint shop would charge for filling the minor scratches and redoing the clearcoat

You can try and buff them out, but if that doesnt work you will need to color sand it... color sanding wont work if u can feel the scratches with your nail. Worse case scenario you can touch it up with touch up paint, or get it repainted. But just know that your always going to get scratches no matter what you do..

Check the multi-stage meguiars wax/buffing kit. We use it in my college auto bady class and its amazing. either buy an electronic buffer, or find someone who has one and do this. Your car will SHINE, and it will take the scratched out, except for major ones. but it will work.

I've used the Meguiar's scratch stuff and usually buff the car when I use that as well. It always helps, but I've had to use it a few times over one area to get it to make any difference.

Meguiars makes stuff called "scratch X" that works well for small scratches. I did my black avenger with an electric buffer and foam 3M pad. But for the heavy scratches or alot of small ones I would wet sand the car with 2000 grit wet/dry 3M sand paper. Do yourself a favor and wash the car very well 1st, then run a constant trickle of water over the area as you are wet sanding or you will load up the paper and it will make new scratches with the crap collected on it. Wet sand one panel at a time then buff it with 3M professional Polishing compound. 1 bottle usually cost about $14 at NAPA or a painter supply store its great stuff comes in liquid and works magic. Then wax over top of it with your favorite wax. Oh and 1 more thing, when you wet sand do not use pressure as you will leave finger marks in the paint!!!!!
