Thanks! The truck is 6 1/2 years old and the paint is still in awsome condition. I've kept up with a very regimented cleaning, and waxing schedule. She's also been exposed to the elements for all that time, N.E. winters, etc...unlike her baby sister, which is kept in the garage.

gothamems, I see in your sig you have the 3M clear bra. I honestly can't tell from the pics, is it on or off? If it's on...well, just damn...good polish and wax.

The 3M clear bra is definitely on. You wash and wax the 3M material like you would your paint, I didn’t put the seal on the bra though. I made the appointment to have the clear bra installed before I even picked the car up, and it went on the next day. I made a point to even avoid the highway when I picked her up, just so there would be no chance of a chip. I also have the 3M clear bra installed on my truck, posted a few times on the forum. The bra on my truck has been on forabout 6years, and has been tortured by NE winters…not a blemish on the nose of her. I even have the 3M clear material on my GSXR1000, not a chip, both my sister and father have had it installed on their cars on my recommendation, and are very pleased with the product, 2005 Infinity G35 & 2004 Corvette. Please, anyone interested in the clear bra, contact me, I have done tons of research on this product answer any question that you have. I am not an installer, and do not sell the material, I am just very familiar with it, I did install the kit for my bike though.

Here are a few pics of different applications, the stang pics are at pretty visible angles, these were the best shots out of about 15 pics. The truck you can see the seems a littleeasier because the seams are filthy and need to be cleaned. The truck has the clear bra on the whole nose. My bike has the bra applied to the top of the tank and the knee wells in the pic, it's also applied to the nose, headlight and front fender. The Infinity is my sisters and the whole nose is done.

I need to look at getting one of these clear bras for my Saleen. I don't think there are any places in my area that install them. I could probably install it myself but I don't wanna take a chance of messing it up.

If you can, try to find a professional who installs this product. I can't stress enough how important it is, to have someone who is familiar with this product install it. I installed my motorcycle kit, and it wasn't to bad, due to the sections being smaller and very manageable. With the mustang kit, you have pieces that are the with of the nose. I do have a friend who installed his own kits on a F150 and a Honda Accord, and you can definitly tell he didn't have it done professionally. My guy is awsome, but in RI.
Nice thing about my installer is he does custom applications. I'm looking into a CDC classic chin spoiler, painted, and he said he would do a custom application for the spoiler so I just have to bring it down to his shop, then I'll throw it on.
