How well do these work? if you have custom pipeall the way to that little thing and headers?what gains?</P><edited><editID>Redline5th</editID><editDate>37887.6875</editDate></edited>
Heheh I love answering this question!</P>
My buddy with an 85 Iroc-z 305, has edelbrock headers, he installed his SINGLE cut-out before his cat..</P>
He dyno'd an EXTRA 20 RWHP (RWHP!!!) and 8RWTQ! He already had a highflow exhaust setup!!</P>
It has ALL the benefits of open headers!!</P>
so are they any good??? I'm guessing so! 20?! dang! I just found that link I know it's not for a mustang. But you get the idea. So are they just as good as high flow exhaust/better/worse? I need some info! What do they sound like?</P>
</P>
Heres what I'm talking about [Headers---------cut-outs////////////stock exhaust</P>
---- = Custom piping</P>
///// Stock piping</P>
That should give you an Idea....</P><edited><editID>Redline5th</editID><editDate>37887.9481597222</editDate></edited>
He gained 20hp, and he already HAS a high flow exhaust system! Even high flow cats!! And he doesn't have dual exhaust like we do, you may see an even bigger HP increase.</P>
Redline, you have the right idea. You will need MIL eliminators though. You car is going to be insanely loud & it's going to sound incredible. I have a clip of my Iroc-z with a cut-out on it if you'd like to hear it - let me know!</P>
</P>
love to hear it, the cool thing is if you don't want it to be loud you just flip a switch. If you go to the strip/light just flip and be ready to race, I like that! </P>
How come they arn't very popular? Is it cheaper than other exhaust? What about with stock exhaust with just headers and custom piping to the cutout? What I'm trying to say is did his having the custom high flow mufflers help the cut outs? </P><edited><editID>Redline5th</editID><editDate>37888.547349537</editDate></edited>
