I have some swirl marks on my hood that need to be taken care of and i grabbed some sctratch x to do it with. I tried it and it didnt seem to do much good. Is there any tips you guys can give me?

 

scatch x wont get ride of swirls you are gonna need to get a buffer and some swirl reemover to take them out

 

I was told it would take care of them.

 

Scratch X will hide some of the swirls but they will come back. If you are wanting to remove them by hand I would go with Poorboys SSR1 or my Light Polish. There is only so much you can do by hand, mainly just removing light swirls and scratches, for anything else I polisher is required.
