How to clean an engine that got oversprayed?

Default How to clean an engine that got oversprayed?

Hey guys, i got my car repaintd white in september and they oversprayed onto the engine. It looks like dust that wont come of. Is there anything i can do?. I work at an auto parts store(Kragen) and so i can pretty much get my hands on anything. Please hep me...

A good engine degreaser and a high pressure nozzle on the hose (NOTa pressure washer) should do the trick. It is just dust primarily with some sticking properties, so with a little chemical and force it should come off.

if you use any water in the engine bay make sure that you cover up you coils really good i didnt once and i had to replace a couple coils
