Default Rear Seat Delete

I'm gonna start makin my own rear seat delete kit for my car but not sure what type of wood to use. i was thinkin soemthin more on the lighter side, any suggestions?

Ply wood??????? maybe a thick piece of plywood would work. Its not gonna support anything so why not?

I've heard people use plywood when they make the homemade delete kits. You really don't need anything too expensive or durable since nobody will be sitting on it or anything anyways.

2x4's. Will that be light enough? LOL. Yea a sheet of plywood will work fine. Just put some carpet over it to make it look pretty. LOL.
