Nah, I don't take anything personally, in all honesty I love to argue, sometimes I may come across kinda rude but thats just me. Anytime you wanna argue just let me know

well for your information i have :

ford e303 cam

edelbrock performer 5.0 heads

engine is bored out to a 306

cobra intake manifold

other mods, but they wouldn't apply to intake of air......

expected rwhp is around 325-375; with this info, are long tube headers worth the money? or will shorty equal length headers ok for my 5.0? i know you 2 argued, but there was no clear answer, so what should i do? just stay with the shorty equals since i already have a bbk off road h-pipe?

ok let me and try and set it staright for you lol. Shorties work fine as well as longtubes. It all dpeneds on how much u want to spend. But personally i like shorties just because of the noise with the off road pipes. but longtubes like mal said will help if your looking to race instead of pulling power ( tourqe). but really go with what u want it isnt gonna kill your car either way

Equal lengths are the next best thing to longtubes. If I were you I would stay with your current setup, its not bad.

Might as well jump back in.I agree with MD the current setup is good, but with that kind of power LT's would be aninvestment definatly worth thinking about. cheers

after much consideration, i believe i am going to go with the bbk equal shorties, but i may also invest in bbk long tubes after i supercharge my stang in the future. thanks for the ideas.
