proper way to polish wheels

Default proper way to polish wheels

ok this was discused briefly in the Hazing on/in Chrome thread last week and i was said that the factory wheels on my car ar in c\fact polished aluminum bit it was also said that they are clear coated to protect the finish if this is true should i wus a regulay polish and the powerball to get a good shine or should i use an aluminum polish with the powerball.... what do u guys think

i have the same wheels and i've never polished mine. mine are kind of swirled, but for some reason i do not trust a power ball. they're clear coated like you said so you don't want to use any kind of metal polish on them, the polish will be too harsh. in the near future i plan on using some OD light polish on mine with a white finishing pad via PC..ill let you know how that goes
