shaving off the emblems?

if emblems have been on your car since 2001 will it be hard to shave off the emblems or will the paint be faded?

also whats the best way to shave off your emblems? i don't wanna put new ones on just keep it plain but wasn't sure about how to do so... thanks.

Well the fenders and the rear Ford emblem all have alignment holes, so you'll need to get those filled. So paint fade wouldn't matter.
The GT on the rear is the only emblem without holes.

To get them off, heat the emlem slightly and use fishing line or a putty knife and it will pry off easily.

the paint shouldnt be too faded, but your going to have to have the wholes filled...and its not really cheap to have it done.
