Default Stripe help

Hey guys, I want to get this stripe http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...spagenameZWDVW

I have a 2002 Saleen. I want it in flat black..my car is black anyways it says it comes in 3 20" sections and my boyfriend said dont get it just got one long stripe because it would be to hard to get it straight. I think i would be easy. I am also afraid of bubbles and messing it up...there is no store or place around here that puts them on..what do you think i should do?

i doubt you will find it in one long piece, and that would be a complete waste of decal to throw away what hits the winshield and trim and stuff. the 3 pieces should install perfectly straight as long as you know how to use a tape measure correctly. just measure off the center and you are good to go. its not that complicated. and i think there is a write up around here that tells how to install stripes yourself.

You'll probably find that any shop that installs Tint has a guy who is well versed at installing stripes.

The biggest issue you're likely to have is making sure that the "pin stripes" are actually perfectly spaced, I had this issue on my car a couple of years ago when I installed my first set of cheap stripes... it was a pain to get them exactly equal.

You're likely to pay about $100 to get them pro installed (AND WELL WORTH IT)

YOU MAY ALSO want to contact the seller and ask if they've got a better quality Vinyl than the ones offered on eBay... from my experience the ones on eBay are probably inferior Vinyl
I paid $150 for my Vinyl rather than the cheap stuff the guy I bought them from was listing on eBay

I totally agree. Foot the bill and have them done. A guy who is good with vinyl is worht his and your weight in gold. My guy is paint and vinyl and I will not let anyone else touch my car. Another good thing about having the vinyl work done is that most guys that do vinyl use good quality vinyl which I think is about a 5 to 7 year vinyl and if something goes wrong with it they will make it right.
