Default Apperance suggestions

Hi. Had the car since last december (07). Wasn't crazy about yellow at first, it was a used car, but now its really grown on me.

I have a mach 1 grill delete & chin spoiler, ford c-springs, and shortened antenna in my garage ready to go on (waiting for the snow to stop). I'm thinking about going spoilerless and come spring some new wheels are going on (17" only, not really decided on which). Thinking a little about stealing a few ques form the mach 1 , but who isn't?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the car sort of 'pop' a bit more? I'm considering a hood scoop, but it's only a v6, and i have mixed feelings on non functional hood scoops on cars. I'm also considerig a couple dual black 10" stripes with pinstriping, but not too sure about that either, not sure how it would look. +05 yellow with black stripes look great, but haven't seen alot of new edges like that.

Any suggestions? (besides sell your car, I worked hard to buy it show some respect please).

The grill delete, chin and springs are going to help quite a bit. Don't worry about her being a 6, if you like it then who cares? I like the idea of the black stripes which would definitely make it look a lot more aggressive, but im not too sure about the pinstriping. Have you thought about headlight/taillight tint overlays? The contrast between black and yellow would look tough.

As far as wheels go, what about a 17" black bullit wheel? I've always been a fan of black wheels on yellow cars.

All that together with the spoiler-less route would really make that lil' 6 stand out.

ok my suggestion, get the hood scoop, then keep the spoiler, get the spoiler painted back, get a black stripe down the hood scoop, get smoked headlight COVERS, black chin spoiler, mustang rocker stripes on the lower sides, black bullit wheels with chrome lip, black out panel on the back between the tailights, tint overlays for the tailights, black mustang letters for the rear end, roush black fill in for lower part of back bumper...im in the process of doing that for my moms v6, sadly though if i want to do all of that its going to need an entirely new hood, which isnt going to happen with the money she wants to spend...

^^ RICE!

i just hate the 2 different colors.. all the ricers around here like the black hoods on white cars thing.. or black hood, spoiler, roof, white everywhere else.. and i just think it looks lame.. like an unfinished car.. i think it came from around the time people couldn't afford to paint their hoods or other accesories.. so they just left them primer gray.. and people thought it was what cool modders did.. but its not..

I agree this is the riceiest thing i've ever seen in my life

Actually the flat black paint thing on the hood came from road racing in europe, it kept the glare out of the drivers eyes. That came from p-51 mustangs which were finished in bare aluminum, but had flat paint painted infront of the cockpit to keep reflection out of pilots eyes. So it's functional, and cool.

Anyways on topic, thanks for your suggestion, I like the bullitt rims alot, but not too sure about black versus "fancy name for stock painted silver". The yellow mustangs i've seen with black bullitts seem kind of too stark or something, but i agree they look great on any dark colour. I'm considering mach 1 repos too, but i keep going back to the bullitts in silver because i love the old torq-thrust look.

On a side note, I don't spend alot of time on car forums but can someone find a new word for 'rice'. I know rice is all about fart cans, frat boys with turned collar golf shirts and sideways visors swimming in axe body spray cause a commercial told them too. But I come from a motorcycle background and rice rocket isnt a bad thing at all. Say whatever you will hayabusa doing 10 sec standing quarter miles for 9grand is impressive as hell.

heres a link of the picture of the car i was basing my suggestion off of, its also what i want to do to my moms car, except with not as much black on the hood, but still some blac, either gt stripes down the sides next to teh scoop or like the picture in the persons sig with the blue mustang and black stripe down teh scoop, doesnt look like rice to me at all...and yes i agree the black bullits look stupid on yellow, but the black with the chrome lip i think looks good, because to me the just chrome on yellow makes it way to bright

heres the link its the yellow one on the page (obviously, but i odn tknow if its the pic thats going to show up in the window you might have to click on the smaller pic of it)

I would go with the racing stripes on the car. I recently had the 10" with the pinstriping put on my car and it turns head everywhere. I have an 07 V6 and people are always asking me if it is a GT and a couple of times they have asked if it is a Shelby. I did what I thought was nice and was in my budget. I might suggest if you are still in question about the stripes maybe you should have vinyl one laid on. They will be cheaper than paint and if you don't like them they will come back off. If you have a good vinyl person that does a good job, I think you will keep them.
