i have not microwaved it but i have used a heat gun to soften it and that worked

If you are going to go with a wax you aren't going to get that much durability, you are only talking around 4-5 weeks. A good carnauba wax will give you the deep and wet look but you sacrifice durability. A sealant will give you great protection but you get more gloss and reflection.

You should tryout my OD Wet Wax topped with Optimum Opti Seal for an awesome look plus great durability.

It should be in stock tomorrow or Wednesday. The truck with my pallets are almost here!

Alright haha. I will probably have to pick some up soon. Just got my PC in today. Can't wait to use it, but the weather isn't looking too good for the rest of this week.
