Default Question about Optimum spray wax!

I see that it is a new formula but i was wondering... Has anyone used this? I love taking care of my car but i completely HATE waxing it so i usually just....dont which i know is a big no no.

So you just spray it on and spread it with a pad? Also can this be used to protect my black peices such as my chin spoiler? Since you just spray it will it really last as long as a paste?

And i have noticed that i am getting some slight swirlage and im thinking its from my walmart chinele mit.... How is the mean green mit from Juztang?

Thanks in advance.

I think you will like the OSW. Its easy to apply. Think of it like a qd but with the protection of a wax. It works really good. The newer version is very very slick. I would still use a paste wax every couple of months and then maintain it with the OSW.

Is the chin spoiler painted?? If its not, i'd use a protectant.

The wash mitts are nice. The chubby wash mitt is really thick

So you do not beleive the spray will hold as well/long as a paste?

At first i was going to get the spray on sealant from obsessive but im sure i would overuse it and it would end up costing me lots [&:].

I use the Spray Wax a lot on my customers vehicles and it does hold up as long as a paste wax. Just mist it on and wipe off with a microfiber. It will be fine on your chin spoiler too. Like Heath mentioned, it adds some really nice slickness to the paint.

My MeanGreen wash mitt is really high quality microfiber, I think you will really like it.

As for the Opti Seal Spray Sealant, it is really hard to use a lot, you can do 5-7 cars with only using 1 ounce! So you get a lot for your money. It takes about the same amount of time to do the Spray Wax or Opti Seal, they both go on fast with great results.

Can you give a brief explanation of when/why to use one over the other? Thanks.

The Optimum Spray Wax you mist on like a quick detailer and wipe off with a microfiber towel. The Opti Seal you can spray an applicator and wipe it over the paint, you don't have to buff off because it just dissappears.

The Opti Seal is quitea bit more durable than the Spray Wax. They both give a lot of gloss and slickness to the paint. You can also get a lot more uses out of the Opti Seal.

Thanks. Safe to assume the Seal protects better?

Yes, a sealant is always going to protect better than a wax. Most waxes you get 4-6 weeks durability where a sealant you can get 4-5 months or more.
