porter cable?

Default porter cable?

im about to go get a porter cable polisher is it worth the investment and ive never used one how do i go about it without causing paint damage?

it is very much worth it and your chances of damaging paint is a very low chance you would have to be a complete idiot to ruin the paint

were are you going to order it from

im wasnt sure do they carry them at lowes or home depot or anywhere like that. i seen that juztang has them on here and all the obsessive deatail products.

i dont know if they have them in stock there but i ordered mine from obsessive detail and that way you can get the lake county pads and not the porter cable pads which are junk and wont even last on detail

that pads that you will get with it is an orange white and black

orange- heavy/aggressive polish and light polish
white- glaze if you decide to use
black- use this for wax

the order i do when i do a detail is i
wash
claybar
aggressive polish
light polish
glaze
wax

I think you'd have a 100% greater chance of damaging your paint by actually dropping the PC on your car than causing any damage with it by using it appropriately. It can be done with an agressive pad and agressive compound at speed 6 for a long time but good luck doing that. Thats what makes it such a great tool. Lowes discountinued carrying the pc (7336, same as 7424 but different counterweight).

Get a package deal with pads and backing plate. It will be alot easier on you.
