Anyone heard of auqa fiberglass? My buddy is looking at a body kit and they say its made of auqa fiberglass. What is it?

 

Fiberglass ok for a hood or is it still crap?

 

Fiberglass is ok for a hood, cuz you scrape it or anything. But if you get in an accident your screwed with urethane or fiberglass. If your gonna go with a new hood it could be fiberglass but I think the best is to buy a carbon fiber hood and get it painted, lightweight and durable... thats what im gonna do when i get my new hood it'll either be fiberglass or carbon fiber...

 

Thanks I'm going to get the urethane for sure now. I like carbon fiber hoods as well but would't you need hood pins to be on the safe side?
