So i have a relatively new satin silver stang (yay alliteration). I got some meguiar's NXT2 wax and some of their polish and applied/removed using some crappy black and decker random orbital (which I might have broken now that I think about it...). After seeing a lot of the cars on here looking nice and shiny/wet I was hoping for similar results but I fell short of those expecations. Is it because of the color of my car? or the orbital? the products? I'd love to get juztang's PC kit but at this point I can't justify $175 (if i remember) on it and would love to be able to do something with what I have.

 

I would go with my Wet Glaze topped with my Hyper Shine Sealant or Optimum Opti Seal for the look you are trying to achieve.

 

Ok, and just to double check, I glaze first then use the sealant right?

 

You can actually do it either way. I prefer to glaze, then seal & top it off with glaze every couple weeks just to freshen up the shine.

Using some of Justins stuff by hand is going to make an incredible difference, just imagine what the PC will do for you!

Silver just likes to shine and look wet, it doesn't offer much depth and reflection. If you get a PC at some point down the road and go through the polishing process, you'll be incredibly impressed by the significant difference it'll make.

I'd definately recommend getting a PC. My girlfriend has a Satin Silver Mustang and it's by far the best color to work with in terms of how easy it is to get amazing results. I'm going to try Poorboy's White Diamond and it should look even better. This is the procedure I used on the car. Wash, Clay, #80, NXT (2 coats with 12 hours of cure time between each coat), and than topped with Collinite #845.
