ok so tomorrow i am going to enter my mustang in my first car show. is there any pointers/tips i should know or anything? thanks

 

The first car show i was in I got 2nd place. I had my stereo turned up and the judges counted off for it. So theres one.
One older guy told me to wait to qd the car just before the judges come around cuz ppl will put finger prints on your car (esp kids).
Take some sun screen, lawn chairs and a pop up canopy if you have one and a cooler full of water or your drink of choice.
Some Optimum OID qd would look great on that silver. Cobra R's just never seen to go out of style. Those are some good lookin wheels.

thanks for all the advice. i actually got those off ebay for 500 bucks that was wheels and tires so i was one good deal.

 

good pointer mentioned above bring some spot wax that you can spray on and off real quick when u get there to clear any dust from when you drove there,,i also usually bring some tire shine and apply it there so none splash on the car when you drive...good luck at the show,, car shows are fun to enter you get to check out other peoples cars and they check out your ride and you can talk to other mustang owners and possibly get deals on the parts they dont want no more

 

Is it true every car needs a fire extinguisher and that you get points for license plate holders?

 

attention to detail. make sure your fender wells are clean and dressed. the barrels of your wheels are clean. your exhaust tips

is it interior too?

depending on the judges some like to see lines in the carpets, and some dont.




some judges like that. it's like a mint on a pillow, but some hate it.
