Default Help removing bugs...

Hey everyone,

I always get the bugs on the windshield and bumper. Can you guys recommend anything that is great for removing them. They are a pain in the as* to get off.

Thanks

I've seen stuff that claims you can spray it on and wipe them off but I am always hesitant to put anything on my paint without water to clear it off. I cuss and clean every day I get home with just water to get them off mine. I just keep the front end waxed good and they come off pretty easy.

I have a products called Bug Blaster that makes cleaning bugs off a breeze. It comes fully concrentrated and you dilute it 5:1, so you get a ton of product out of one 16 oz. bottle.

The root of the problem on your bumper is lack of wax. Use a good bug & tar type chemical and a bug brush (its a sponge with a netting around it) and A LOT of elbow grease.

Once you get them all removed, apply a goodPOLISH to the bumper (and probably the rest of your car) to revitalize the paint, and then follow with a good coat of WAX (probably two coats on the bumper).

Now the bugs will wipe right off with a micro fiber and a shot of detail spray.
