Did you buy leather cleaner, conditioner, or 2-in-1 ?

I clean my leather whenever it seems to get a little soiled, but I keep my seats conditioned about once a month. Let it soak in for awhile, and then wipe the excess away. That is merely what i do, so maybe someone else can chime in on proper conditioning intervals for leather.

I like to mist the cloth and wipe. I only do it when the seats look dusty, once every two months or so. Haven't tried Meguiars, but I like Mother's.

+1 to the Lexol

I've used that in the past and it works good.

I condition mine once/month. Let the conditioner soak in and wipe off the excess. If you simply spray it on and then immediately wipe it off, it will not have a chance to soak into the leather, which is what you want. If you can let the car out in the sun for a little bit to heat up the leather that will help open up the pores in the leather to allow for better absorption.

If in doubt, the owners manual, you must consult.

Malco leather conditioner is great. As most people said, apply heavely, even in the seams, and let sit and then wipe the excess off. I work at a detail shop and that is what we do. For my personal vehicle, a 2003 mustang mach 1, i condition once every two weeks but thats also because im a freak when it comes to a clean car. At home, i have Zymol leather cleaner and Zymol leather condition and thats works great also.
