goo gone or goof off when you get it off. Hairdryers help to heat up the glue.

Plastic single-edged razor blade. Hard to find but I believe Pep Boys has them. Plastic so you don't cut into the paint and single edged so you can do it by hand. You do not want to put it in a holder. I used those to remove 4 yr old pinstripes on my old Nissan. Not a scratch. Once you have it off, take tolulene or carb cleaner to remove any film. You DO NOT want to put the carb cleaner directly on the paint. Put it on a towel then rub the area with the towel and quickly follow with water. Repeat as needed. Then be sure to wax the area.

It will take a bit of patience but it works way better than a hair dryer/heat gun.
