Default Buffing my Mach hood.

So I'm not sure of how many of you are quite familiar with the hood us Mach people have, but it has about a thousand sharp angles and curves, not having a flat spot any wider than about 5 inches. Should I just polish my hood by hand or just be extra careful with the PC? I'm not really trying to buff an edge.

A PC will not do any damage to your hood, it does not generate the heat like a rotary.

You only need to worry about taping off your vinyl.

You don't need to worry about edges with a PC the same way that you do with a rotary.

I've got some weird angles on mine and never had a problem with the PC.

I use a dewalt buffer at my detail shop. Used it on my mach 1's hood and had no problem. Just keep it moving because the heat is what causes it and you're right, edges have a thinner layer therefore heating up quicker. As long as you're careful, you'll be fine.
