Door trim delete help !

ok so i remove my door trim on my v6 and my passenger side is perfect but my driver side is horrible

There is an outline of where the trim used to be how do i remove this ???

Is the outline dirt, faded paint, adhesive residue or what?

try some goo gone or goof off or something like that. its prob just a little of the adhesive residue left on there. thats how they were on my 94.

i did use goof off i think the clear coat has been taken off

let me guess i need to paint the door or are there other solutions

use some reducer on it an then wax it.

The reducer wont damage the paint (unlike a thinner that can) and youll use less elbow grease.

im getting vinyls next spring and im having a pro take those off because im getting a boss style vinyl and the door stripe will go where the old stripes are now
