Default Looking for a plastic polish

Many years ago 97-99 one of the mustang mags reviewed a product that they rubbed on the headlights of a mustang that made them look new. It was a white paste but I dont remember what it was called. The results were amazing and I would like to try it on my 93. Anyone know what its called or know of a product like it?

A motorcycle friend I have told be about cerium oxide compound which they use on the plastic motocycle winshields to polish them and remove scratches. He told me most motorcycle shops carry it, just haven't had time to check.
