How can I get rid of little scratches? I have some little scratches on the hood where you can see the silver metal. I have a black car so you can really see it. Is there a way to get rid of those or to color those with a polish so that they are not so obvious anymore?

Can you feel them if you slide your fingernail accross the hood???
If you can you might be looking at touch up paint.
Whats the dimensions of the scratches??

Make sure it's not any wax residue. Sometimes scratches that don't go through the paint, but do remove some paint will fill easily with wax residue and look absolutely horrible.

If it does need touch up paint, you'll need to have faith in your hands to do a worthy job yourself.

I would try touch up paint FROM FORD. I got some from an auto body shop and they guarentee'd it would match and it didnt and made it worse, so go with fords, it may be expensive, but worth the money.
