It won't come out. It needs to be repainted OR you can wetsand it and then polish it and it will make it better but short of a repaint those marks will not buff out.

Thanks for all the opinions guys.

I think I'll try the 3M- I know it's hard to tell in the pic, but the noticeable part is really the worst of it. I'm touching that up with touchup paint/clearcoat and then hopefully it'll be less noticeable.

I'll post later about how it turns out.

When i bought my 89 mustang i had alot of little chips and what i would do is get the factory color from dulpi color in the ball point pen and apply it to the chip. You do this enought times until the chip is higher then the orginal paint. (letting each coat dry at least 3 days) Then you sand the chip with a real fine sand paper like 1500 and then 2000 and 2500. Once this is done it will look a little milky so you take you compoud and buff out the area and it will come out like new. Make sure though when you sand not to sand hard! I have a question for you though. What products do you use to buff your mustang? I have a black mustang too and iam trying to make it really come out.

I have washed it with mr. clean auto wash to stop the water spots but i didnt like the soap so i used meguires auto wash with a a hand mit. Will an orbital buffer and a nice polish and wax get ride of the swirl marks and bring out that finish? If so what wax and polish and pads do i use?

I read the replies with real interest. My black Sport Explorer was hit by 5 eggs when being driven past a school yard one night. Maybe the kiddies think its a messy but harmless stunt, but those circular paint chips are there forever (I have a "stunt" in mind for the prank-kiddies)[:@]

Have not used this product before but I hear great things about it, might be worth a try.
