Default Winter's coming...

And my Mustang is my daily driver. Though I park in a garage at night, it's in an open lot all day long at work.

Any recommendations on a good brush to use to get snow off the car, that won't scratch? The brush I've used for years on my previous cars (where I didn't care much) has pretty stiff nylon bristles, I fear they would cause a lot of fine scratches/swirls...

Hey fjc

I wouldn't use no stiff bristle brush on my paint's finish, instead go and get you a windshield type cleaner like they have in the buckets at some gas station and just use the squeegee part to remove the snow, and when finished put in a bag and throw in your trunk.

Meguiars has soft wash brushes that should not scratch your paint.

Very nice brush but I don't think I would be using it for removing snow.

But all off meguiars brushes are discontinued, although you can still get them on e-bay or like me, I go to the dollor store's or general's and big lot/odd lots and pick up everything that they have of meguiars like that brushes, and the deep pile chenille wash mitt's and ultra plush chenille pad's (which is the only thing I use to wash with, along with a 2 buckets system and grit gaurds in the bottom of both of them)

Here is most of my meguiars brushes I've collected over a couple years.

There discontinued, and just a great product. there tough, made well and I like to use them. Like detailing products find something you like and works for you and keep using them.

I've been detailing for years and on the side and when I started using them and found out that they were not selling them any more in the u.s.a I started finding them in the dollar stores and big lots and stocking up on them.

Go get the tire brush and the slide lock brush there two of my favorite's and then their is a couple more that I haven't found yet.

Any other suggestions, other than to look for a discontinued brush?
