Default Glaze questions

My Mustang already has a lone coat of Opti-Seal, topped with one coat of Wet Obsession carnauba wax.

I have a bottle of Optimum Glaze that I haven't cracked open yet. Would I run into any problems, or see any benefits, by applying a coat of this glaze on top of what I already have, then putting another coat of Opti-Seal and/or Wet Obsession on top of that?

If that's worth doing, do I need to let the glaze 'cure' for any time before I wax or seal over it?

Thanks in advance!

I'd add another coat of the Wet Obsession and try the glaze the next time you clay bar.

I don't think it is Optimum Glaze that you are talking about, Optimum doesn't make a glaze. Are you sure it isn't my OD Wet Glaze?

If it is my glaze, you can put it before or on top of a wax. I usually put it on right after polishing and before the wax.

BTW-there is no cure time for the glaze, you can top it right away.

Doh! You are correct, it's your Obsessive Detail Wet Glaze.

Any issues if I put it on after wax, then put wax over it? Or would I just be wasting my time?

I would just put it on before the Wet Obsession. The Wet Obsession has an amazing look by itself, the glaze will add some nice depth, wetness, and slickness before it.

Well the rain finally let up and I managed to clean up the Mustang, put a coat of the Glaze on it, and another coat of Wet Obsession. Here's the results:

Nice!

I like to top everything with a glaze whenever I have the chance!

How long does a glaze last as a top coat?

The glaze has some protection, but not a lot. You are still going to get good durability since you already have the Wet Obsession and Opti Seal on there.
