never use window cleaner with amonia when cleaning the inside of ur window if you have tint. i did that and the bottom of my tint started peeling off and it got so bad i had to buy new tint. the people who i got the tint done from asked me if i used windex r anything to clean my windows and i said yes and they said only use cleaner amonia free so u dont end up like me

Obviously thats why the tint guys are supposed to tell you not to use windex with amonia or any other window cleaner that has amonia, thats why you should buy window cleaner that says "SAFE FOR TINTED WINDOWS"

they really should have told you that when you got your tint. it probably even says it on the little warranty sheet you got with the tint(if it came with a warranty). thye told my brother that the ones that dont have ammonia or say tint safe are still harmful. they told him to put a couple of drops of johnsons baby shampoo into a spray bottle of water and mix it up and use that instead of a regular window cleaner. most of the times i just wipe my windows with a microfiber towel anyways. they dont get that dirty.

Does this apply to windows in their original condition? To my knowledge, they are the same as they came off the sales room floor.

Ditto on the Invisible Glass comment. Definitely some of the best stuff out there IMO.
