Cool Difference between hand waxing and machine?

I'm pretty new to having a car that I care about... I recently waxed my car by hand and it looks pretty fantastic, although my neighbor has told me that I could borrow his electric buffer. Which would give me a better longer lasting shine?

well with waxing it will not do anything unless it is a cleaner wax then it will have some effects but not alot

also what type of buffer is it

a cheap walmart one i would pass on that

if it is a porter cable or any dual action buffer you could try it out

I'm not sure what brand buffer it is, but its not cheap....

So overall there is no big difference other than the obvious?

What about the wax that the car washes have, Like professional car washes that cost 20 bucks to take it through a full wash n wax?

I would hand wax IMO.

waxing with a machine just makes it faster and its applied more even. Don't think using a machine will make your wax last longer or shine any better than doing it by hand.
