my obsessive detail
ok, so i have been doing some searching on how to do a good detail job.
right now all ive done is wash and wax it with some meguires nxt wax
the car has some light swirl marks, i want to get rid of those and do a real good detail job on the car...
from what ive gathered, i do it in this order and these are good products.
i plan on doing it all by hand, maybe using a craftsman orbital buffer.
#1 wash
#2 clay bar(obesessive detail claybar and detail spray)
#3 polish(obsessive detail light polish)
#4 glaze(obsessive detail wet glaze)
#5 wax(wet obsession paste wax)
so whats the best way to apply these products?

You got the products and steps down! Everything looks good.
To put on the polish, glaze and wax I just use my foam applicators that are at the bottom of my microfiber page. These applicators are great quality and can be washed and used again. With foam the products will go further, microfiber and terry applicators tend to soak up product.
Also, you might want to think about getting some of my high quality microfiber towels to buff off the products with. My Ultra Premium and Super Fly towels will both work great for this, you can also use them to dry with as well.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
