<P class=Msonormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">O.K. its seems to me that most everyone agrees that Flowmasters sound the best but Magnaflows produce more hp. My question is how much more, does anyone have a comparison. I’m willing to give up a few h.p. for the bad *** sound of the Flowmasters( I have 40 series). But if its more then that I will change.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o></FONT></FONT></P>

 

Yeah, I'd like to see some numbers too. I'm doing my catback (is it still a catback if you don't have any cats?) in spring and was planning on using magnaflows. For me however the flowmasters are about2/3 the price, so its a cost/hp issue for me.</P>

 

From comparisons I've done with supercharged 03 Cobra's...</P>


Magnaflow put out nearly 20 MORE HP than the Flowmaster system on 2 cars that had base dyno runs, and then replaced their exhaust (cat-back).</P>


If you search for it you might find my thread. I'm going to say on a NA car, you can see 5+ more hp from Magnaflow than you will with Flowmaster.</P>
