Default Any cold weather washing tips?

As someone who has to drive his Mustang all winter what are some of your tried and true cold weather washing techniques? I live in Chicago so snow, ice and salt are big problems.

I put a bit of scotch tape over the key holes so they don't ice. Clean is the keyword for winter, detailing is for summer. Spray under the car atleast once a week. I use a quarter car wash and use a PRESOAK setting and STAY AWAY FROM THOSE BRUSHES UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR SCRATCHED TO H#$L!!!!!

I use optimum no rinse with lukewarm water (please no hot water). Although I only wash the car when the temperature is above freezing. This is what I did living in new york during the winter.

wash it at a car wash with both doors closed so you dont get any wind coming through.

dry it as good as possible before opening the doors as the water will freeze.

if you can leak the drivers door cracked SLIGHTLY so that the rubber seal does not freeze to the jam. not sure where you park, i live out in the burbs in a condo so its parked in a garage (also kept at 75* as its the 1st floor of the building and would freeze the rest of us out if it wasnt kept heated)

if you cant just run some tape around the seals then if you are worried about it.

Another vote for Optimum No Rinse with warm water. Works awesome in the winter!

On my truck in the winter I used No Rinse with warm water.

I was told that road salt has no corrosive properties unless it is wet, so I only rinse the under carriage of my truck a couple times a winter.
