hardwiring to battery
hi i need to hardwire + and - to the battery, but i heard it's best not to mess with the battery, since it could be dangerous. i am running my neon lights wire straight to the battery, but i dont know what i should really do. remove the + cap then the - cap off, and then wut? how do i add the neon wire to the rest of the wires that connects the battery rod?

it sounds like you have no idea on how to wire things up your best bet would be taking it to someone who knows what there doing......but if you do try it, if it didnt come with a switch i would get one and make sure you use a inline fuse b/c if you dont you will end up with some blown neons and you would have just wasted your money. <edited><editID>Snake Stompa</editID><editDate>37930.9172453704</editDate></edited>

Yeah neon are a little funy on stangs. I had a buddy with a yellow 94. He had green neons on the damn thing. Well he ended up having a lot of engine work done and took it to the track a lot. Well he would get a lot of looks since he's puertarican (sp?)driving a stang. But it would absolutely **** people off him running down the track clicking off 7.40's in the 1/8th with the neons on. <edited><editID>br93lx</editID><editDate>37937.4632638889</editDate></edited>
