Hey, im lookin for an exhaust system that will sound just like or close to the shelby gt 500 from the movie GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS, anyone have any advice, i just fixed my stang and im into making it my dream car, anyone know the brand of muffler that car used, or if it used headders, or anything, all advice is welcomed, THANKS</P>

 

okay man, ur not gonna get ur car to sound like an eleanor edition shely. however, the one used in the car chase in the actual movie was a 302 so u have a chance. I would have to reccomend though, I have a 69 with a 302 and i got it to sound great. I have a custom bent and formed pipes, 2 1/2 all the way down with flowmaster 40 series 3 chamber with hooker competition headers. it sounds great, it is really loud and smooth as well. this is a good setup, especially since it only cost around 450 with the labor, pipes, and mufflers. (another 300 for headers)
